Get to Know Michelle Blanshei (author)
Raised in Northern California, Michelle is a late bloomer to the publishing world, and can still be found working full time for a non-profit, helping rural communities across the Western United States (RCAC) as an Assistant Director of Events.
Michelle has always had a love for dogs, and throughout her life has had many breeds, but the Shih Tzu is her favorite. Boo-Boo the Shih Tzu is a real life not so perfect puppy that makes Michelle smile and laugh every day.
Michelle is a mother of two adult children, and can be found hanging with them, taking long walks, practicing yoga, and visiting the mountains to be with her guy, playing golf, or paddleboarding. (All activities include Boo-Boo)
Get to know Natalia Kravchencko (illustrator)
Natalia Kravchenko is a young children’s book illustrator who has been very passionate about art since childhood. She studied painting, drawing and interior design at a University in Ukraine.
While in school Natalia discovered her love for fashion and started a small business while attending school. For 12 years Natalia business in fashion grew in Odessa Ukraine.
When the war started in Ukraine, Natalia was in Spain with her husband and young son. Unfortunately, her business closed. This was tragic for Natalia, as part of her passion died.
But in the face of adversity, Natalia pivoted her skills, and took up children’s book illustration. She redefined herself and believes that this new career and passion is very inspiring. Natalia loves to tell stories without words.
Her first children’s book was published in January 2023, and Boo-Boo No is now her 4th book.
Natalia now lives in Canada with her husband and her young son. She also claims her toddler is her best critic.
